| This piece was part of a large installation at Wendy's world headquarters. The acrylic rods were lit from underneath. Because they needed to have a random appearance in orientation while being permanently fixed, they were entirely located in 3D model before production. The model is shown below. Rotation and pitch information was transfered to the actual substrate via the CNC machine which made the fabricators jobs easy. |
